Hi everyone,
We're hoping to do our first batch of meat birds this year. I'm just wondering if anyone has a source for organic chicken feed? While these guys are just for us, and won't be certified, I'd still greatly prefer to stick with antibiotic-free food.
Thanks!!

Hi Mandi, Zenmar is able to get Organic layer in. You could try and ask about growers and starters. They do have specific feed there that is not organic but is GMO free too. I also talked to www.canadianorganicfeeds.com/ They are quite expensive though and you have to arrange all your own transportation to PG.

Just a quick update: Otter Coop Feeds makes organic starter, grower/finisher, and layer, and Spruce Capital Feeds carries them here in PG. Stop in about a week before you need the food - if they don't have it in stock, they will order it for you.
